If by then the couple can sustain the relationship, their parents would give their blessings and announce the relationship in public.

Near the summer, the Potter's family had vacation in a farm. So Beatrix & Norman had to be separated from each other for the time being. They kept in touch by letters. One day, Norman fell ill. When Beatrix came back to London, it was too late; Norman has passed away & was buried one day before her arrival.

In her sadness, Beatrix locked herself in her room. To express her feelings, she made sketches of her characters going topsy turvy. One day, Milli (Norman's sister who is also Beatrix's best friend) came & gave her support. Finally, Beatrix decided to buy a farm with a beautiful cottage surrounded by the serene sights. She lived there by herself & continued her career as an author.

This movie is very classic, sweet, heart warming and romantic. The England sceneries in this movie are spectacularly beautiful, packed with pretty flowers, calm lake, the mountains, the trees, the winds, the wide green fields, the birds & other natural sounds.

Though this is a classic biography film, but the story line is not monotonous at all because there are flash back tricks. Renee played extremely well! She is able to get the audience interested & curious to follow the story till the end.
