Iris Simpkins (Kate Winslet) fell in love with bad boy who engaged with the other woman. She lives in a cottage in London. Amanda Woods (Cameron Diaz) is a producer of thriller movies. She lives in a big house in LA. Her husband had affair with another woman. These two broken hearted gals wanted the same thing, to get out & to forget. Through the internet, they met each other which ended up with a deal to swap their places for 2 weeks.
Amanda got the cottage in London. At first she had some difficulties in adjusting. Then Graham Simpkins (Jude Law), Iris' bro came & changed everything. They involved in a passion romance full relationship. Iris who lived in Amanda's big house was very happy with all the facilities it has. Moreover, she could fulfill her passion in arts & movies as well met Amanda's neighbor, the old writer. She also met Miles (Jack Black), Amanda's ex-hubby's assistant, the composer of the thriller movies songs. Miles also has a bad gal friend, is in the same shoes like Iris. In the end they fell in love.
The movie has a happy ending. They celebrated the Xmas together.

The movie is quite interesting & entertains. During the show, I found some scenes have deep impression but there also some have really light flicks. So it goes up & down. This most applied especially to character Graham. The gals played very well. They are very pro, in which leads us into the movie. Character Miles looks just so-so.
Recommend for wknd entertainment. Not bad... :)
