Read Synopsis:

Robert Neville is a brilliant scientist in the army, but even he could not contain the terrible virus that was unstoppable, incurable and manmade. Somehow immune, Neville is now the last human survivor in what is left of New York City, and maybe the world. But he is not alone. He is surrounded by "the Infected"-victims of the plague who have mutated into carnivorous beings who can only exist in the dark and who will devour or infect anyone or anything in their path. For three years, Neville has spent his days scavenging for food and supplies and faithfully sending out radio messages, desperate to find any other survivors who might be out there. Perhaps mankind's last, best hope, Neville is driven by only one remaining mission: to find a way to reverse the effects of the virus using his own immune blood. But his blood is also what The Infected hunt, and Neville knows he is outnumbered and quickly running out of time.

R-Man said:

This is one of the best movies by Will Smith. Even though more than half of the film we only watch him walking in out empty houses and play with his dog, he is still able to attract us to watch his literally lonely life. Though I still think Tom Hanks still rules in monologue in his Cast Away.

For a movie that has been made time and time again and contains some vampirism stuff, I am Legend is still able to draw crowds and even become a #1 box office for a few consecutive weeks.

The storyline is clear enough with a few backflashes explaining why Robert Neville, the main character, is stranded in empty Los Angeles in the first place, how he survives with his dog, what his reasons to stay alive up to what makes him a legend.

Verdict :

This is an awesome movie. You got to watch it. There is a thick psychotic element mixed with a great performance of the actor and a plot that has been proven time and time again to draw the crowds.

Watch it or prepare to be lonely!
